What is your role at Berger HR Solutions, and what does it involve?

As a Consultant with Berger HR Solutions, I leverage my broad HR and business experience to help clients create more engaging and supportive work environments. My role involves partnering with organizations to develop strategies that enhance leadership, improve workforce planning, and strengthen overall team performance.

What experience do you bring to your role?

I bring a diverse background in Human Resources, having worked with both small start-up tech firms and large financial institutions. Prior to joining Berger HR Solutions, I led HR efforts at a small IT firm in Baltimore, where I implemented an HR structure from the ground up to align with organizational goals.  I have also worked in corporate spaces where I assisted business lines in the field with HR work utilizing practical, simple, and positive communication and implementation. 

How has your past experience shaped your approach to HR consulting?

My experience across different industries and company sizes has taught me the importance of flexibility and strategic alignment. I focus on creating HR solutions that are both practical and people-centered. I’ve facilitated training sessions, led talent assessments, and managed performance review and merit cycles—all of which inform my approach to helping clients build strong, resilient teams.

What areas of HR are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about creating strong leadership teams and work spaces that support the organization’s mission and values.  

Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with senior leaders to foster inclusive workplaces, implement effective recruiting and retention strategies, and developed coaching and training for managers in support of employee development. 

What’s your educational background?

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, which supports my expertise in both HR strategy and operational effectiveness.

Who do you enjoy spending time with outside of work, and where do you call home?

I live in Delaware with my husband.  When we are not at the beach, we enjoy music and great food with friends.  But – you may be just as likely to find me in Baltimore spending time with my children and soon to be 6 grandsons walking nature trails or watching Disney movies!

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?

I am a great cook and love butter!

What do you value outside of work?

Staying healthy for my family.
