What is your role at Berger HR Solutions, and what does it involve?
As a Talent & HR Consultant with Berger HR Solutions, I provide customized Talent Acquisition and Human Resources strategies to help clients source, introduce, and onboard top talent. My role involves aligning recruitment and HR practices with each organization’s goals to ensure long-term success and workforce stability.
What experience do you bring to your role?
I bring over 30 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources across a variety of industries, including residential property management, healthcare, higher education, and staffing and search. As a Talent Acquisition Manager, I partnered with hiring managers and clients to source, assess, interview, onboard, develop, reward, and retain quality employees. My work has consistently helped employers meet their organizational goals through thoughtful and strategic people practices.
How has your past experience shaped your approach to HR consulting?
My diverse industry experience has given me a broad perspective on workforce needs and challenges. I’ve developed a comprehensive approach to HR consulting that emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and long-term planning. I focus on building strong partnerships with clients and delivering solutions that support both immediate hiring needs and long-term talent development.
What areas of HR are you most passionate about?
I am consistently inspired by the alignment of a career opportunity and the ideal timing for a candidate’s career progression. I enjoy helping businesses identify the right talent and job seekers find their next great workplace team.
What’s your educational background?
I am a certified HR professional, having earned the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute.
Who do you enjoy spending time with outside of work, and where do you call home?
I recently relocated to Smyrna, GA, just outside Atlanta where I regularly gather with friends to cook and enjoy community activities.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
My summer job during high school and college was as a camp counselor for people with special needs. It awakened my understanding of the unique value every individual brings to society, if provided with opportunities to contribute.
What do you value outside of work?
I value the arts – music, cultural events, museums, film and theatre. I also enjoy exploring food from around the world.
