As a Consultant with Berger HR Solutions, I leverage my extensive HR expertise to provide strategic guidance that supports clients in achieving their business goals while helping them mitigate risk. I work closely with organizations to deliver practical, people-focused solutions that align with their operational needs. A key part of my role includes facilitating professional development and coaching sessions, something I find deeply rewarding and energizing.
What experience do you bring to your role?
I have over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, primarily supporting the financial services industry. My career includes key roles where I served as both a Senior Employee Relations Specialist and Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner. I’ve worked across all levels of leadership, providing support in legal compliance, investigations, performance management, and organizational change. I’ve also led training initiatives and career development programs that helped improve morale, strengthen relationships, and increase retention.
How has your past experience shaped your approach to HR consulting?
My background has given me a strong foundation in both strategic and tactical HR practices. I’ve learned the value of listening, coaching, and collaborating to build trust and drive results. My approach is rooted in helping leaders align their people strategy with business objectives while fostering a culture of engagement and accountability.
What areas of HR are you most passionate about?
I especially enjoy helping individuals grow in their careers and build stronger workplace relationships—an aspect of HR that continues to inspire my work.

I hold a Human Resources Studies certification from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
Who do you enjoy spending time with outside of work, and where do you call home?
I live in Buffalo, New York with my husband, and enjoy spending time with our three grown children and their families. Life is full of joy thanks to our five wonderful grandchildren, and I cherish every moment spent with them – whether it’s relaxing at the beach, going for bike rides, or exploring new places.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
In my younger years, I lived in Alaska, where I developed a love for adventure and exploring the untamed beauty of the wilderness.
What do you value outside of work?
Outside of work, I value meaningful connections with family and community. Spending time with my five grandchildren brings me joy and keeps me grounded. I love being outdoors, whether biking, relaxing at the beach, or traveling to new places, which helps me recharge and stay curious. I have a deep appreciation for exploration and resilience, qualities I carry into my work in HR as I support others in their growth and navigate challenges with empathy and integrity. I continue to seek out experiences that inspire curiosity, connection, and personal growth.
